Sheng and i went for our 2years dinner together last night. Took a cab down at 8ish and we arrived outside mykii, the restaurant that we ate at, and we were somewhat stunned at the finishing of the restaurant. W-h-o-a. It's kinda hard to explain here how it looks like but it's a very chillax environment. Not the conventional high end restaurants where you must dress smart casual with alot of business talks. Sheng and i wanted to have our dinner at the line at shangri-la hotel but we decided not to spend so much on dinner and settle at a normal yet not so normal restaurant (:

when i was still at home dolling up (:
decided to go on shorts instead of dress CHANGE IS GOOD! Shall leave all my new dresses for cny and for friend's birthday. So yesterday i paired this pair of white high waisted shorts with one of my sister's top, an aigner belt , my 2 weeks old chanel bag, 2 weeks old pumps from hongkong.
i picked sheng's shirt (: didn't want him to wear too casual nor too formal. hha
Oooo can you see that bling on my ear? Sheng's mum gave me that pair of chanel earrings and i super love it. Kept it in my locked drawer for quite awhile until i decided to wear it for the first time! Love it alot. Hahah it's in my locked drawer again now. Heee i want to save money and buy chanel watch.(don't judge me haha)

Because desserts and drinks are very important to me, i chose a restaurant that serves splendid desserts.
see what i mean? not a classy kind of restaurant but somewhere you'd want to stay longer in instead.

Our first drink - lemonie crush. I like this drink maybe cos i love anything to do with lemon.
Our appetiser - mezze platter which consists crunchy bread with three heavenly dips; salmon, chickpea and eggplant.
Sheng and i counted '3,2,1' and took our first bites together. The next second, we started giving the super yummy and satisfied face like we were floating in heaven.
Then came our main course - 1) bbq baby pork ribs , 2) seafood linguine w laksa pesto.
baby pork rib was super tender but mediocre still,but i thought the latter was pretty awesome.
Kk then came our second drink which spells fantastic. This is probably by far the nicest strawberry yoghurt drink i ever had in my life. Even sheng(a fruit hater) loves this drink! Hahah it's called bee stung , the signature granita in mykii.

I think the name alone explains it all. This dessert is to die for.

hahah then i got the staff to take a photo for us, exactly what i did at goodwood park hotel during sheng's 17th, conrad hotel for our 1year anni, sheng's 18 at coffee club and it'll be for our subsequent years(:
finished our dinner and when we paid for our meals, the staff told me there's something wrong with our visa(we can't use our atm card cos it's joint with the visa acct, can't pay by cash cos we were short of 10bucks) AND I PANICKED FOR A MINUTE. Sheesh for a moment i thought we had to wash the dishes to pay for the meal, like what people always do in tv. Hahah. Then tried all our cards and went to withdraw. Phewwwwwwwwwww i was really gonna die at that point of time.

So dinner was really thumbs up! Give it a 8.5/10!
Sheng and i had nothing to do after that so we decided to walk from holland road to almostclementi. Played vocabs game, singing game, names game while we were walking! That boy actually got tired before i did so we cabby home and he stayed over. We wanted to stay up to play poker and go swimming early in the morning but both of us just slept all way through from 1am to 11.30am. Hahah piggachusheng.
Nyahah am i happy or what?!
