i was crying over some stuffs last night and i used almost half a box of tissue.

and i conveniently threw the tissues out of the window.

there is a ledge outside my window by the way.

then mummy text me this morning [sophia what time are you coming home? i'v something to tell you.]

went home and mummy said ,

"the environmental staff came to complain that you threw tissues out of the window and it's all over the floor. the cleaner had to sweep it this morning. please clear all the tissues. the next time this happens , we won't just give a verbal warning."

turned up for chinese lesson this morning and leonard came to sit beside me so we could talk. leonard and i had a twinky promise on something so he's not supposed to say out. GET THAT MY GOOD FRIEND! -beams! hunn came down to causeway to meet me for awhile and we bus-ed to my house. i was feeling nostalgic when we were in the bus. HAHAH<: baby and i had steamboat with my mum and sister ((:
i was really full , like really! then baby cabbed me to my piano teacher's house (: my eyes were failing me so badly. i couldn't read my scores. I COULDN'T SEE CLEARLY , AND I DON'T KNOW WHY! poooo. cabbed back home cause it was really raining hella heavily >: i was drenched like i don't know what.
baby's at raffles town club having dinner now , and he may be coming over after the party later! YAY [: which means i can have someone to play with till late!

the grandmother ;

All of us , you and i are not spared from the clutches of menacing death. That , of course includes someone closely endeared to me and that's my grandmother. As i rummaged into the past , recollections started pouring in at such a speed it startled me.

It was something about her kindness , the offer of assistance without getting anything in return. Her face and midget body complements with her immaculate self. I had returned to a moment that had lain buried until now.

I grew up under the care of my grandmother till i was about five years old. During that period of sojourn , life was nothing more than extraordinary. Living past those mundane years with her , we still shared moments of joy and happiness. Every spaces between each second was the intermittent glints of bonding and love. She was like a close friend to me. Whenever i think about how empty my own life was , how devoid of relationships , she was my source of comfort , siphoning each and every weaknesses and doubts gradually. Whenever i feel daunted , she'd alleviate the fear and obscure the dark clouds for me . We had our piece of fun and laughter , which left people with a pang of envy. Like any other grandmothers , she'd bring me along to do groceries and introduce me to her friends in the market. Though it was really dirty and wet there , I always enjoyed accompanying her. She was adept at bargaining prices and that always leave us with peals of laughter. I just want to bask into the moment of sheer happiness again. But , good and beautiful things always come to an end.

She often smokes and drinks , much to the detriment of her health. The foul stench leading to a daunting terminal disease. She was bed-ridden and renditions of surgeries took place , but to no avail. I was struck by a feeling of immense space , feeling uneasy without her as I was already accustomed to her presence. Her voice began to faint away , and under the unscrupulous hands of fate , she left us without bidding goodbye.

I was stupefied at the sight of her dead corpse. Never realised the emotional impact, the way it slowed and fragmented one's thought. The surge of adrenaline drained me completely at the thought of not being able to accompany her through her very last journey. Silence of the ward seemed to envelope me. I was crying helplessly. Her words reverberating at the back of my mind vaguely. I gnawed my nails , succumbed to the tragedy reluctantly. I abhor the thought of living without her , without someone to douse me when i'm faulting. My throat felt parched. I hemmed and hawed , " Grandma , i love you. " as i wrenched my eyes away from her. To know that it's not only my parents who emboldened me , but also my grandmother who took care of me , played with me , protected me and loved me for who I am ; that's my greatest comfort and blessing.

this is an essay i found in my cupboard while i was packing my room.

though a story , it speaks of reality.

after which , my world fractured into something unrecognisable.

i miss her.

i abhor the way you said and do those things ,
and then turn around to call me that.
it's not about the things you do , but the stupidity you're actually obsessed with.
this is what they mean by ,
the pot calling the kettle black.
i'm washing my hands off this ,
cause i don't wanna get upset and al because of you anymore.(even i can't imagine i'd get sad over you.)
i've more than enough friends to keep me smiling and despising you.
cause not even your puney brain can contain the amount of people who badmouth you.
no one can ever deflate that enormous ego you possess.
do whatever you want to ,
i don't give a rat's ass , not anymore.

angst beyond anyone's capacity to imagine.





anyhoos , supposed to go for chinese lesson but i couldn't wake up.
so i continued sleeping <:
woke up and went to meet baby at acer building to service his laptop.
waited like how long okayyy.
then then then we went to the discovery centre's mac to study.
do work actually (:
so i completed me emath homework.
heeeeeeeheeeeeeee.

sheng went home with me and we played dai di with my parents <:
YAY.
he's my adoration.

he makes me smile when i'm sad , no matter how sad.
he dotes me alot alot alot.
he'd hate whoever that bullies me.
he loves me.
and he'd alleviate my pain whenever _______ is hurting me.
that's why i L-O-V-E him (:

i don't give a hoot about any guy/ girl who comes along and push me off the edge no more ,
cause i know sheng will always be here to cushion my fall.

and people , sheng bought the bag for me from paragon okayy , so it's not like $12.90 or whatever you say it is. like hello , tell me you can find a bag so cheap there laa. anyhoos , the cost of the bag isn't important. what's most important is i like it , you don't have to. cause it's so-my-bag. must a bag be expensive to be a good bag? NOOO. then again , sheng bought the bag for me , thus it's my bag. ONLY PERSON THAT NEEDS TO APPRECIATE IT IS ME.

was like pretty busy this weekend so didn't have the time to blog.


FRIDAY .
met vann , leo and isaac at novena with baby.
then like went to some steamboat restaurant near by for isaac's surprise dinner.
30 over people were there ,
like jon ong , greg , shaunl etc etc etc.
had a very nice time talking to vann ((:
she's very nice.
hahaha!
cabbed to my aunt's place after that and i slept at her place<:
heheh.


SATURDAY.
hunn came over after his tuition.
then went for piano lesson while sheng waited at the void deck for me :D
trained down to yishun and when i reached yishun station ,
some stuffs cropped up and made me really pissy.
so decided to go off.
adidas called me and said my mum's shoes could be collected so decided to get it for her <:
trained down to town to meet sheng.
then we went to meridien to meet jeric for some ticket stuffs ---.---
got to know like this girl called JIAYI!

went to wisma and suntec to shop.
got this top and shades from forever21.
baby and i got a adidas bag each.
hahah it ain't really like hellllaaaa nice , but we just felt like buying i guess!
and bought a shoe for mummy.
so like we spent around 200odds.
ate wanton noodle and fried tofu at wisma's bi feng tang.

headed home and i reached home at 11plus12 >:
gosh , talked on the phone till 2 and slept.

i wished things appear like in fairytale. like my fairygodmother buys me this shoes without letting me know , giving as a surprise. and then she wraps it in a very nice box and leaves it at my doorstep , then the doorbell goes "ding dong". so when i open the door , i'll be like so drama rama and go like "ohmygoodness. " and hugs the shoes.

HAHAH TELL ME I'M NOT THINKING TOO MUCH , CAUSE I'M EVEN DREAMING OF IT AT THE MOST UNEARTHLIEST HOUR :D

anyhoos , school ended at 3pm tday and i met baby at queensway. wanted to shop for shoes but >: ]: none. & i was really really lethargic. hunn and irvin thought i was like angry or something. hahaha which is like sahdewdgydsgyte?! sheng bought chicken nuggets , fried potato and water for me (: left at around 5 without getting my shoes -pouts! wantd to take a bus cause it'd be a double decker. and i love taking bus with baby! :D sheng came up to my place for awhile and left.

YAY SCHOOL ENDED EARLY TODAY , AT LIKE 12:15.

school was damned fun today , during amath period.

-sophia went around with her scissors poking and threatening to cut off the girls' lala thing.

and i teased eujin like mad! :D

IT WAS REALLY FUN.

i went outta my mind , seriously.

and everyone sitting around me just kept laughing at me.

like ruiqi , elishe , irvin , joshua , eujin , marvin , nasriah , sophie etc etc.

and i was really quiet after school.
